Sunday School ~

Welcome to Snapdragon Diaries ~ Sunday School link up party !
Week #2

It's week 2 and I'm so happy if  you managed to contribute last week and are revisiting this week. I was really pleased with last weeks entries... some beautiful craftiness going on out there. So I would like to say THANK YOU for entering the linky party and as promised I have chosen my favourite entry which I would like share with you all today:

It's an Easter Mantel by 'Swirly Girl ~ Dreams and Decor'

Go on, take a look at how pretty and unique she has made her mantel look... adorable for spring and Easter!
I'm loving her miniature picket fence, complimented by the softness of her bookpage wreath.

I've pinned the entries onto the Pinterest board.... Take a look !

For those of you who have followed my blog for a while now will probably know that I'm happiest when I'm behind my camera, out in the open, capturing wildlife and nature at it's best.  I also love to make colour palettes from my photographs as inspiration for other projects.  I thought I'd show off a few today in this  Sunday School linky party, and provide a link to a great video by Brandi that explains exactly HOW to make these yourself.

Here's a screen print of  what the downloaded colour template from Brandi's blog should look like:
It's pretty simple once you have your template made (or downloaded), it's just a matter of uploading into Photoshop and using your colour picker and paint bucket tool, filling in the colour squares yourself.
Here are my recent spring photographs made into colour palettes.

Cherry Blossom

Forest Flame flowers

I just love the grey hues of the tree Lichen.

Winter Berries

Other ways to create colour pallets are available here:
I love both of these websites... easy to use and they do most of the hard work for you. Bonus !

Feeling colourful and inspired? Go create !!!
Now it's your turn to link up your craft-tastic blog posts.
